This U.S. map is clickable to make it as easy as possible for students to find Ambassadors and Mentors in their region and in their state. The goal of this resource is to provide the support for successful cultivation. If you would like to become a Ambassador or a Mentor please Contact Us. Note that Ambassadors are students in either high school or college and Mentors are typically agriculture professionals who are interested and available to share their insights.

Over the Summer and early fall of 2023, we welcome Student Ambassadors to help promote the FUTURE FOOD RIGHT NOW Conference (Live and Virtual) on October 20th and 21st. Learn more at: https://futurefoodrightnow.com/

NEXT LEVEL GROWING IN ROCKS!

To make the future of food as cost-effective and as sustainable as possible, geological agriculture (GeoAg) offers great potential. We can now grow microgreens and other plants out of rocks and pea gravel. This saves a significant amount of money, because it reduces the need for grow mats or soil. With this approach, people can grow microgreens at home for less than the cost per pound of spinach, kale, or other leafy greens. For underserved communities and people in food deserts, the lower cost and high nutrient value can help transform microgreens into a daily food staple. We have uploaded the presentation as an editable Powerpoint (PPT) source file in addition to a PDF so that students, parents, and teachers can edit it to their needs and share the relevant information. You can download the source file here:
